Today we had a very warm Diwali welcome, with candles, and lights to add to the ambiance and warm energy. We took time to appreciate the true meaning of Diwali, the festival of lights that celebrates good over evil and knowledge over ignorance.


We had a short chat about what the energy of Diwali brings, which is dispelling darkness from our lives and bringing in bright light of joy and vitality in our lives, and is a great opportunity for new positive beginnings.

After a warm welcome, the session started with a seven-minute energetic aerobic cardio workout with upbeat music. This was followed by strength training using resistance bands, working the legs, upper body and arms.


There were very positive signs of improvements in the participants, with both the cardio and the strength training.
