After a warm welcome and words of encouragement from Baljeet, Satpal started his conditioning the Mind and Body session. We started with an upbeat cardio session with music. Many options were given so participants could increase or decrease the intensity of the exercise.
After the energetic cardio session, we had a good stretch. This was followed by resistance training with mobility. We used our bottles of water as weights (kettle bells) to do some kettle bell exercises. Each exercise activated multiple muscles; we also did some light strength training using resistance bands.
We then went on to do some gentle yoga postures, twisting and stretching our bodies, but with emphasis on using the correct techniques, listening to our bodies, and working in harmony with our body. Finally, we finished the session with some heart-warming Simran meditation.
Thanks, Baljit jee, satpal ji and all the team for brilliant session I enjoyed every part of the session, and we are learning every week something different. Looking forward for the next session.
